Day Route
01: Arrival;
transfer to a hotel in Kathmandu.
Trip briefing. O/N Hotel.
02: Sightseeing tour of Swoyambu (Phapa Singu), Anandkuti Vihar where holy Buddha sacred relic is kept and Vihars in Patan. O/N Hotel.
03: Excursion tour of Namo Buddha (Tagma Lhuijen) and visit Shree Kirti Vihar in Kirpipur on the way back to Kathmandu. O/N Hotel.
04: Fly (~ 35 min.) or Drive
(321 km./ ~ 9 hrs) to Lumbini.

05: Lumbini
Holy Place;
Morning; Prayer at Mayadevi temple protecting the 'Marker Stone', Statue of nativity scene and darshan visit surrounding holy sites; holy pond, Ashoka pillar etc.
Afternoon; Tour of monastic zone; can visit over a dozen monasteries of out of total 32 temples/ monasteries of all branches- Theravadi, Mahayani, Vajrayani etc. from all over the world. O/N Hotel.
06: Ancient
Kapilavastu – Home Town of Buddha;
Visit Tilaurakot, Gotihawa, Kudan, Niglihara and Sagarhawa. Tilaurakot is the
ancient Kapilavastu - the capital of Shakyas, where Buddha spent his first 29
years.

07: Visit Devdaha - Ramgram - back to Kathmandu; Drive back or fly
back to Kathmandu.

08: Visit of Pharping Monastery (Yangleshoe), where Guru Padma Shambhav medidated and Seto Gumba (Drukpa Amitabh Monastery) in Sita Paila.
09: Visit Boudha (Jyarung Khasyor) stupa, Kopan monastery, a famous Buddhist school for discourse retreat and Vajrayogini (Naljyorma) temple, Buddhist tantric holy site.
10: Outskirt drive to popular hill town, Nagarkot for Himalayan mountain view and cultural sight-seeing of other UNESCO heritage historical and cultural sites; Bhaktapur and Kathmandu.
11: Departure: Transfer to the airport for flight back home.
