Chulu East at 6,584m is situated high above the Manang valley in Annapurna region. The peak summit  provides breathtaking views of the Annapurnas II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Manaslu.The adventure journey begins from Khudi and gradually makes the way up the Marshyangdi Valley. The approach route is a culturally stimulating experience and fascinatingly scenic.

You follow the classic route around Annapurna massif across the Thorung La before descending the Kali Gandaki valley to Pokhara. The topography, vegetation and lifestyle of the people change dramatically the  altitude is gained higher giving you a culturally invigorating experience. Though technically a straight forward climb the ascent of Chulu Peak requires basic skill of mountaineering to confidently  using the equipments  - crampons, harness, ice axe, tying knots and handling climbing ropes. Climbers are required to be physically fit with good climbing experience.
