Paragliding :

Paragliding in Nepal  has become popular for the adventure seekers who want to fly and float around the big Himalayan mountains.  Pokhara Himalayan lake town is world famous for paragliding for its ideal location, surrounded by high hills usually from Sarangkot hill top (1500 m.) to take off, very close to high and beautiful mountains of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Mardi, Dhaulagiri, Mananslu etc.  and  a perfect landing site by the Fewa lakeside.  Three of them are + 8000 meter high . Another paragliding site Bandipur is also starting to get popular now.
