Pikey Peak (4065m) , Everest View Trek
Close view of Mt. Everest (8848 m.) the highest on Earth, is not only exciting but, really fascinating ! Yes, possible now. No need to be tough and adventurous, a moderately easy trek route to Pikey Peak (4065 m) just in 3 – 4 days is possible now from where stunning views of seven 8000 m + mountains - Mt. Everest, Kanchanjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Manaslu, Annapurna and Shishapangma can be seen. Other several 7000 m + including Amadablam, Jugal, Gaurishankar and Langtang, ranges also can be viewed.
Newly upgraded road to Patale (2840m.) is about 10 hours drive from where the trek starts. Trekking trail up to the Pikey Base Camp (3600 m) is gradual up through remote mountain villages and terraced high mountain farm land. On the way back, the trek can end up at Phaplu or Junibensi or Bhandar or even Jiri road points on the Everest classic route.
