Nepal is a mountainous country and has numerous rock cliffs in the mid hills to higher Himalaya, many of them are not anchored though. Most rock cliffs are in the wild and remote.
Rock climbing trips can range from a day trip to several days up into the wild mountains. There are few, we can offer you trips
Around Kathmandu:
Kathmandu is surrounded by mid hills and offers day trips for rock climbing in country side. Nagarjun in Balaju and Hattiban rock cliffs are situated in beautiful natural background. It can be done on a day trip combining a short drive, some hiking and climbing
Day schedule could be something like:
Departure time from hotel 09:30 a.m
About 20 minutes drive for Nagarjun.
About 50 minutes drive for Hattivan.
About 30 minutes hiking to reach the rock spot.
Rock Climbing:
Return trip at about 04:00 pm.

I. Nagarkot – A scenic hill town, 30 Km from Kathmandu.
II. Bimal Nagar – 20 minutes drive from Bandipur. It is between Pokhara and Kathmandu.
III. Chhomrong – en route to Annapurna base camp
IV. Namche Bazaar – Bouldering field is 30 minute walk. En route Mt. Everest base camp trek.
Along the mid hills and higher up the Himalaya region from the East to West Nepal, there are numerous high cliffs that offer tough challenging trips to high spirited rock climbers. Most are still to explore.
