 Namaste Tilak,

Thank you so much for your holiday greetings and wishes, which I gladly return for you and your family.

Getting older (80 this year my wife and me and also Hans Schiessler), I think back to the travel in Tibet, the tour around Keilash so well planned and organised by Himaland, which was without exaggeration a climax in my life.

With all my best wishes for you, for your ventures and for your country,

Yours,

Thank you very much for the pictures. I am sending you my photos attached, which you can proudly show to your family. Although we didn't see the tiger, maybe he saw us and we survived the wilderness!!

Christmas is in a week and the madness is approaching its climax. We look back very fondly on the wonderful time we had in Nepal. Thank you for the great organization of our trip.

Great local Kathmandu company for fantastic trekking trips in the Himalayans

Tilak and his local Nepali business demonstrated a commitment to excellence in every aspect of our trekking tour. The accommodations were well-chosen and from a logistical side, including transportation, we could not have asked for a better experience.

Our trekking guide, Hasta, played a pivotal role in making this trek a memorable one. His extensive knowledge of the region, coupled with his friendly and approachable demeanor, made us feel not just like clients, but like cherished companions on this incredible journey.

I recommend Himaland for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable trekking experience in Nepal!

Dear Tilak, Thanks a lot for your support !!  We had all together a very nice Trekkingtour with a lot of deep experiences. In the Langtangregion we met  people who lost parents, brothers and sisters and relatives in the earthquake 2015. They told us their history, their sadness and they showed us there happiness they got again. Theses experiences have been very important for us.  We learnt a lot about human beeing! And we love your country with all this great nature and nice people ! Thanks a lot again !  Best greetings from Wolfgang, Tina and Sarah

Tilak organised a 2 week trip around Nepal for me and my group of 3 and his service was fantastic throughout. Him and his team were quick to react to changing circumstances on our side and remained flexible throughout. He had clearly taken significant effort to think about every detail of the trip - the logistics, hotels, walking routes and activities were incredible. Our trip involved Kathmandu, travelling to Pokhara, trekking, rafting and Chitwan and every element was excellent. The teams he engaged for every part of the trip were second-to-none - friendly, experts at their roles and we felt well looked after and safe throughout. To top it off, Tilak would frequently contact his teams to ensure things were running smoothly and that we were enjoying everything. We were very aware that we were amongst the first tourists to visit Nepal since the pandemic started, but Tilak's team were faultless and they had taken care to ensure all hotels/activities were able to accommodate. In short - a trip of a lifetime and we would highly recommend Tilak and his teams. They all take tremendous pride in their work and delivering the best experiences of their wonderful country. We will be back!

Our party of four have recently returned from Nepal after completing the Peekey peak trek and spending time in Chitwan. Tilak and his team took wonderful care of us during our stay. This was my third time in Nepal and I would strongly recommend Himaland for their attention to detail and for their knowledge and experience. I would have no hesitation in using them again ! Many thanks for making our time in Nepal so enjoyable and giving us an unforgettable experience.

Himaland arranged an 11 day trek for me and longtime hiking friend, and we were impressed with the knowledge of our guide, who did a terrific job, as did our porter. Our small group of just four had much fun together. We especially appreciated the flexibility, willingness and ease of adapting our plan to changes required by delayed luggage and sickness, plus the dedication of Tilak in Kathmandu to secure for us a *spectacular* helicopter ride over Base Camp !  hi there  i just wanted to say

that i absolutely loved the way Tilak and his team

it didnt take long and i already got a reply. Tilak
really put some effort in there and showed me all the
possibilities there were. he organized my trip to
Bhutan, where i had the best private guide ever ! He
also organized my trip to Tibet and when the government
changed rules, Tilak tried everything to make my wishes
happen. When i needed help with tranferring money from
different bank accounts, when i needed taxis and
advices - Tilak and his team was there to help me and
make things possible.  thank you so much for your work.

 Namaste Tilak

Thank you for the good planning and perfect service. The five times we felt safe and well looked after. Neither short-term changes nor hour-long delays were a problem. The guide was very competent, always well informed, very caring, friendly and funny. We have learned a lot about the country and the people, especially about life after the earthquake. Also the porter was always in a good mood, hard-working and helpful.
We are looking forward to the next trek in 2 years.

 Namaste Tilak,

Many thanks for you & your team's support throughout our trip. Your staff were on excellent form and I hope they enjoyed the trek as much as we did. It was very memorable. Indeed, we are all back in the UK and well rested. The debriefing at the Ministry of Tourism office went fine and I think we shared all the necessary information to them. How was your trip outside of Kathmandu?

Yes, we can leave a Tripadvisor review on Himaland. You can expect to see it in the coming days.

This year, we did a trekking trip with the company of Tilak for the second time and we are very satisfied again. Everything was organized very well and the guide and the porter did a really good job as well. They took always care of us and were always smart and friendly. Furthermore Tilak gave us a good feeling, because he always kept contact with our guide, so we felt safe. We enjoyed our trip very much and for the next time, in two years, we will book it with Tilak`s Himaland again.

 Namaste Tilak,

Deeply impressed by our stay in Nepal, we arrived safely back home. That is now almost 3 weeks, but still constantly Nepal "on my mind" .I is thinking of the mountains, the blooming rhododendron forests, the magnificent scenery with fascinating plants, the good food in the lodges, and in my dreams still come the stairs, the buffalo and langurs before, but also dust and noise in Kathmandu.

The way to Annapurna B.C. was well chosen. Challenging but not overwhelming. We were also very well looked after by our ever-cheerful guide Ratna and the nimble, friendly porters. Of course, the traces of the devastating earthquake last year many places are still highly visible, but a trip to Nepal, they do not stand in the way.

Thanks Tilak, you and your team, for the good organization. I hope again to have the opportunity to stay in Nepal.

Best wishes,

 Namaste Tilak,

It is our third trekking trip with your company, this time rhododendron trekking. Everything was excellent organized even the route which you recommended was great. Part of the trail was pretty remote and we came in good contact with the villagers. We saw rhododendron from white to pink to dark red, from little bushes to huge trees. Just awesome ! Thank you very much again and we stay in touch.

thank you for your informations about the situation in your country.

Now, i`am sitting here, with Axel and we talk about trekking in nepal. I tell him a lot of our really great trip last year and the very good guided tour by your company. I gave him a good recommendation. Axel is not sure, if the situation in nepal is good enough for a trekking trip.  He  and two friends, will plan a tour in the autumn. So, maybe he will book a tour by you.

Nepalreise 19.10.

Sehr geehrter, lieber Herr Tilak,

We wanted to send this e mail to both organisations because we felt we had an exceptional level of service from Himaland, and from our guide Pemba.

All the transport arrangements worked well, the service was reliable, professional and had a personal touch.

We met Tilak, both before and after the trek and the arrangements went like clockwork.

Our Guide. Ranjit Lama - Pemba.
We have trekked previously and had good experiences with guides but it is right to say we felt Pemba was exceptional.
He was knowledgable, diplomatic and completely at home in the mountains, and constantly shared his enthusiasm for Nepal and the Himalayas.
Pemba paced the trek for us, and never made us feel we were going too slowly! We were aware of the issues of AMS and the dangers as we got higher, but Pemba managed the acclimatisation process in a light touch way and we felt in very safe hands.
He was unfailingly helpful [assisting Elizabeth over some difficult terrain, in a gentle and tactful way] dealing with all aspects of the trek including the lodges, the porter, and any day to day matters that cropped up.
He has a great sense of humour and made the trip fun. We observed and spoke with other trekkers and their guides and we think Pemba is in a different league.
Quite simply we felt Pemba made the difference for us, turning the trek into a great holiday that we will remember for a long time.

Namaste Tilak,

Indeed, we had a nice flight back home.
We definitely enjoyed our Nepal trip! It was a real good overview of the beautiful nature and culture of Nepal.

As we mentioned during one of our meetings, we have a few thoughts :

- maybe it's better to mention in the description that the entrance fees of the visits in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Bhaktapur are not included in the package
- in the Riverside resort they wanted to take us to Manakamana in the morning, while this was already included in the package of Himaland. Therefore we had some phone calls with you and finally it was cleared out.
- sometimes it would have been more comfortable to know some practical arrangements a little bit more in advance (like hour to be picked up at hotel for transfer ...). We never had a real problem during our stay, but sometimes it was last minute.
- during the trekking there was a good choice of lodges, especially the ecolodge in Tatopani (where we had our rest day)
- our guide Buddha was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. He took my condition into account.
- we have really appreciated the regular contacts with you before and during our holiday.

Be sure that if we visit the region again, we will contact you, and also recommend your good service to our friends and family.

Thanks for all and hope we will see you again.

Best regards,

Just wanted to say again how much we enjoyed the trek and the excellent service we received.  This is our second trek, and both times the people you provided were simply amazing.  Very personable and professional, and catering to our every need, even when we did not know we needed something.  We especially appreciated the advice we got on what to eat as we approached Thorung La, and how he briefed us every evening and every morning on what to expect for the day.  Our trek’s in Nepal are some of our most fond memories, and certainly some of the most adventurous stories we tell.  We really appreciate everyone at Himaland Adventure and the wonderful service you provide.

Hope this review helps, and if I forgot something, please let me know and I can rewrite it.  We really had a great time, and really enjoyed Kanchaa and Kyapsang!  Kanchaa was an excellent guide for us!

Hope you are doing well, and we really look forward to when you and your wife visit us in Colorado!

dear Tilak,
hope you had wonderful Dasain and Tihar with friends and family.
You are not coming this year for the Nepal Day in Gilching, I think. But I am looking forward to seeing you next March/April, in Nepal.
My nephew Axel and his girl friend were very happy with their tour on trek and rafting and biking. So sad that I could not join.
all the very best to you

Hello Tilak,

Oh, no, I haven´t heard about the snowfall in Annapurna because I haven´t seen the news this week. But now I searched the internet and found it of course. That is a disaster, you are lucky that noone from Himaland was involvede. At the rafting we met two Russians and I am not sure but I think they said they wanted to trek in Manang…

On the other hand I have good news about the bank. Yesterday we received the money. It was much earlier than I expected.

Still thinking about the great trip. At the moment, I sort the photos which I will develop and which I can put onto my website. So, there are still some afterwork to do 

Namaste Tilak,

it was a great trip. Thank you very much for the friendly and competent organization. The first day I felt a little unconfident, so it was great to know, that we had a reliable partner to take care for all our needs.

This morning I met the other group members, who stopped here in Mannheim. We enjoyed to exchange our impressions of the trip.

Dear Tilak,
Nameste.  Thank you for these suggestions for itineraries in Tibet.  We will keep them for future reference as we consider our next travel.
We certainly enjoyed our hike day out of Kathmandu  in April and appreciated Pemba's leadership of it.  It was quite a red letter day for Pushpa as her first hike in a very long while...and quite an accomplishment.

hey tilak,
it were ten rememberable days and everything was really fine!!
thank you for the good organization.
i also had a lot of fun with bhakta lal and resham.
i would like to ask you a question.
do you think its possible to do a 5 days trek to the gosainkund in end of may or beginning or middle of june? also if thats the monsoon time?
i know that there is a lot of rain during the next months but i just wondered if this is maybe also a question which has to be answered short-timed. i dont know if it can be sort of forecasted if the weather will be ok or too bad...
lots of greetings from hannah!!

Namaste Tilak,

Thank you for your incredible support on our first adventure holiday.
From the moment we arrived at Kathmandu airport to the last taxi ride your arrangements were faultless.
Internal flights and road trips, day trips and the Trek were all perfect.
Your staff were all friendly and early for all meetings, and your own personal attention was very welcome.
Having your card in my pocket for the whole trip made us very relaxed, knowing we would have help at any time if we needed it.
A memorable and moving experience, my wife cried when it was time for Bahkta and Resham to leave us, I was close too.

I hope to visit Bhutan and Tibet in the next couple of trips and I will certainly be in touch when planning the trips.
I might even visit India with your support.

If I can recommend you to anyone in the future I will.

Thank you so much,

Namaste Tilak

We have just received a post holiday report from clients Jarratt and they are very complimentary:

“Thank you so much for organising such a superb trip.  Service was exemplary. Tilak at Himaland was excellent, very experienced and knowledgeable.”

They only really disliked the Sherpaland in Namche and thought they were having 2 porters as they worried their porter carried 40 kgs.  Will check with Matthew as I thought he booked two?

Many thanks Tilak as always, for looking after them so well!

Kind regards

Debbie.

Namaste  Tilak,

Thank you for the email.
Here, things have returned to usual, but I am still full of energy after my visit to Nepal. I have enjoyed it so very much!
I will indeed treasure it and have already shared it with a lot of family and friends.
Thanks for your good care I have had; except a splendid experience of Nepal, also an insight into Nepalese culture. Just what I was hoping for.
And I felt being treated like a princess everywhere I went.

So don't worry too much about the camera, here it was even too old to be insured and I already replaced it.
If it was found, the only thing of interest is the memory card because of the foto's. But the memory's are also in my head and in my heart :).
So to answer your question: it was a Sony, Cybershot 1.4, siver colour. And again; but don't worry!
With the other camera I made 380 pictures and I kept a diary, so I can tell everyone about my great trip!

I also have to give you thanks from Krystyna, the woman I met on the busride to Chitwan, she was very impressed by the package you arranged for me and was very happy to be invited to the trip to Bhaktapur.
We made friends for life.
But we like to have mentioned that our guide (the same one as I had the first day in Kathmandu) is very good at the job: he didn't only gave the info for the sight seeing, but he also gave a lot of interesting background information. We loved it!

So to make a long story short (I could write an essay about my trip to Nepal :)) I want to thank you very much for giving me a personalized and unforgettable trip to Nepal. This memory will forever stay in my heart.
Now I know why Roland contacted you. The trip was great and personalized to my every wish; and I also appreciated your farewell when I left.
I felt very special by a warm, welcoming people!

If you ever need a recommendation or/and foto's for your website, don't hesitate to ask, I will happy to provide them.

Dhanyabad.
With the kindest regards,

Hi, Lama san

This is Etsuko Hatanaka, Ravi &Shinomi 's friend.
Thank you for your special arrangement for our stay in Nepal  fm 21th to 27th Sep.
I really enjoyed myself trecking, food, mountain flight and short tour at Kathmandu.
Everything I experienced there was new and refreshed my spirits!

And I  heard that the special dinner in Katmandu on 26th was your treatment.
Thank you so much for your kindness.
We really enjoyed such a fun night with fantastic food and dance.

Now it's already been two week since then.
The times fly quickly .
Before my forgetting what I saw, I 'm filing my photos recalling trecking route.

And I would need your help.
I would like to know the name of the place we started for trecking on the first
day(22th).  Our route was changed from original schedule because of delay for application in short of photo.

We moved by jeep for short cut to a village.
Could you possible to find the name of that place?

Thank you for your support.

Dear Mr. Lama,

It gives me immense pleasure in acknowledging and appreciating the excellent service that you have rendered during the Diplomatic Outing jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nepal Tourism Board from 10 to 12 Mat 2013. All Ambassadors/Diplomats and their spouses as well as media persons, who were participating in the Diplomatic Outing enjoyed rafting in Sunkoshi river, trekking/camping in Timal mountain ridge. I have received letters of appreciation and thanks from different Ambassadors for organizing such a nice trip.

I don't have any hesitation to recommend your company to handle tours like this in the future.

Namaste Tilak,

Yes, the flight back was nice - and we arrived in Bavaria, where the rain
poured for four days and we hardly escaped inundations. Today, the sun comes
out for the first time.
You really did care for our safety and comfort. Marieanne and I thank you
very much for the good service. This includes the guide Lobsang and the very
skilled driver Bassa in Tibet. They cared for us and did their best under
the given circumstances. Especially during the khora around Mt. Kailash,
Lobsang arranged the trip with the horses and encouraged us all the way up
to Dolma La. We could not communicate with Bassa, but he showed his good
character all the way. We do recommend both of them.

We expect your visit, when in Munich.

This is to say thank you for organising our trip and making us feel so welcome.

We really appreciate your kindness throughout our holiday in Nepal.
It is a beautiful country and we had a really good time.

As I said to you at the time Bhakta and Rejendra were so very kind to us the whole time we were with them.

Bhakta was very caring when Robert was unwell.

We are so proud to say that we reached ABC and will have those memories for ever

Thanks again and we really hope we will be able to visit again one day

I have attached a photograph to prove that we really made it

Namaste Tilak
I have just been to my Yoga class and we always end with Namaste so I immediately think of Nepal…..

Anyway, I know you are interested in client feedback and Jane Usher and Dennis Weale have sent in their comments and were very happy:

Quote: I am pleased to reiterate it was a wonderful, challenging and yet rejuvenating experience. It is great to find two companies like New Experience and Himaland Adventure Treks that really prioritise a good customer experience to such a high level.   Himaland certainly succeeded for us; Pemba was constantly vigilant for our wellbeing, worked tirelessly to get us the most comfortable bunk for the night, and ensured we were always well appraised of our options. For Jane our taxi-transfer being hijacked by a couple masquerading as us at Fish Tail Lodge was more than compensated for by being greeted by Pemba at Kathmandu Airport to ensure we arrived safely at our hotel.  Also, it was great to be able to gain a day in Kathmandu and have, at short notice, a full day tour with Bina and your driver who greatly enriched our cultural experience of Nepal.   We hope this attention to detail will bring you much success in the future and I can confirm that both Jane and I will be publicising our great experiences in Nepal with you at our daily work places (as we do for previous New Experience holidays).

It makes our hard work all worth while doesn’t it Tilak ….thank you for your part in making our clients so happy.
Best wishes

Namaste Tilak,

I'm so sorry for the late reply but I was really busy flying this month!
How are you? Hope this e-mail finds you well.

Our trip in Nepal was simply amazing as you can imagine, we loved everything about the country... The beautiful landscapes, the kindness of nepali people, the food (miss dal bhat so much!), we definitely want to come back maybe next year and do another trek (maybe ABC or Everest BC).

Your service was really professional I must say and Kancha was really nice to us (he offered his help to bring our backpacks several times) and competent too. Just few things I'd like to point up.

First of all we expected to walk a little bit more during the day. The first day we met you, you told us that the plan for the day was to walk 3-4 hours in the morning and same in the afternoon, but it often happened that around midday - one pm we finished already our trek for the day (that's why the last day we ask you if it was possible to finish the trek one day earlier). We can understand that you cannot know in advance how fit your customers are, but maybe a little bit more of flexibility will be appreciated.

And another little thing was that it wasn't that clear what we were allowed to choose from the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes we could choose more items, sometimes just one... So I think maybe it will be better to specify in advance which is the budget for the day (or for meal) just to avoid misunderstanding.

Apart from that everything was perfect and we really appreciate your help when we decide to finish the trek one day earlier, thank you very much for that.

Yeah, it was a shame we couldn't catch up in KTM for lunch, but I'm sure there will be the occasion to meet each other again!
Once again, thank you so much for your service, we're definitely gonna recommend it to our friends.

Take care. All the best!

Hello Tilak and Namaste,

We had a good flight home.  The stop in Hong Kong was helpful.

The trip to Nepal was a highlight for me and hopefully we can come back some day.  I think by having Himaland make all the arrangements made the trip much more relaxing and more like a holiday than if we did this ourselves.  Every day was a good day.

Hope to be back,

Hi Leon and Marlene

Before I'm swept into a hole in the internet, I'd best get this information to you!

Our friend in Nepal who runs great treks is Tilak Lama.
His company: Himaland Adventure Treks: http://www.himaland.com/

There are a number of factors to consider: time of year; lots of people and culture in the mid-hills, vs somewhat colder in some of the higher treks (where there are still lots of  people); tenting versus tea houses, etc. We're happy to give you suggestions. Tilak will also be very good at this.

Best wishes, David

Namaste Tilak!

Thank you – the flights home were very good especially Doha to Manchester which was nearly empty.  I am more impressed with Qatar Airways each time I fly with them.

Our son was home from school this weekend and it was lovely to see him after many weeks.  Now it is back to life in the office which will take some getting used to after so many weeks in Nepal.  Everest Region is just about live on our website and as soon as I have caught up on general matters I will get writing for Annapurna – Peter and I did a lot already.  I will let you know when it goes on sale.

So, many many thanks to you again for all the excellent organization of our trip, gifts, lunch and above all your company which we did enjoy!  I will let you know if I need any further information and will also send the photographs.

In the meantime, best wishes

Hi Tilak,
We got home safely on Tuesday and are now working on catching up with life and photo editing!

Once again, we want to thank you for the most wonderful month in Nepal. Everything that you arranged for us was excellent – from the pre-trip planning, to the organization of the 14 day trekking to the Annapurna sanctuary and Gorepani, to the additional itinerary that you provided for the extra week that we spent in Nepal.

Ratna was the most excellent trekking guide, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable about Nepal, he was always extremely considerate of our needs, tailoring the daily itinerary to our abilities and requests, never forgetting to remind us to take frequent water and tea breaks, and making sure that we arrived at the tea house in time for afternoon tea  and a hot shower. He was also a good resource for other trekkers and guides, always willing to answer questions and share his extensive knowledge of Nepal.  We were very proud when he told us that we would be able to do Everest Base Camp and should consider it for our next trip! Ningma was also great, always smiling and friendly in spite of having to carry the burden of our stuff all day long!

The trip gave us a wonderful introduction to Nepal and we have such happy memories of our trip. We look forward to returning in 2012. I include a few photos of the trek.

Very best regards,  Gill and Paul

Thank you so much for your warm welcome back home here! And we are happy and grateful that the earthquake on last weekend did not result in severe losses, damages, or other sufferings.

Once again, we would like to say thank you so much for all the care, preparations and arrangements you had made to assure a wonderful, impressive trip for us to and through parts of your impressive country. We had a wonderful time together with Balram, and we would also like to thank the driver who took us around so carefully.

Be sure: We will remember our good experience so much.

Best wishes and take care!

Thank you Tilak

Our flight will always be an endurance until we decide we can afford business class or above but we arrived safe and sound.
As we said, our holiday experience was greatly enhanced due to your expert organisation and flexibility.  Your choice of driver was excellent and we would hope to be able to use him again next time if we do as much travelling once in Nepal.

Our comments about the bathrooms at the Jungle Lodge Resourt in Chitwan should definitely be addressed as they will lose you clients (not us I hasten to add).  The people and the service could not be faulted however but they really need to learn about dirty, filthy bathrooms.

Please thank your mother for the rakshi, which we are saving for a special occasion.  We will let you know our thoughts when we eventually taste it!  I'm sure it's delightful  If it's anything like that which we enjoyed with you in the restaurant, it will be delicious.
Looking forward to meeting you again in the very near future.

Greetings from 10 years ago when my family did a Langtang trek with you (the kids were 6, 8 and 10 years old), and it was fantastic!  I hope all is well with you. Are you familiar with the Mustang region, and is this something you might be able to help us with?

My wife Patty and I are very interested in a private trek in Mustang, departing Kathmandu approx April 10, returning to Kathmandu around May 5th  (dates are a little flexible).  We were thinking about trekking from Jomsom to Lomantang, spending several days there, and then trekking back.  We would prefer to go at a more leisurely pace to better acclimatize to the altitude and really enjoy the experience.  (I am a photographer and Patty is an artist, and that definitely slows down our progress at times!!)

Thank you very much and look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Dilli and Family,
After leaving Nepal we had a lazy and relaxing week in Goa and after that time we are happy to be back in Gastein in best health. Now it is very cold and we have much snow, just winter time.
We often think and talk about our tour Langtang-Helambu and staying in kathmandu. _We were very happy that our trek was successful and was such impressed. We want to thank you for the perfect organization and Ratna for his wonderful and helpful care. We have trust and feel sure that everything will be good and best for us. Thanks a lot.
It is not the last time being in Nepal, Werner talks about Mustang next november. So we will keep in touch.

Namaste Tilak,

just got over a terrible indigestion. Now I am feeling fine again and on Saturday
my friend Freddie an I will visit Rosi Friedls Nepal-Bazaar in  an school in Gilching.
I will comment our Nepal trip just with one word: Extraordinary. Everything was organized perfectly, there was never a delay, your staff was very friendly  and we always
had the impression, to be in good hands.

I do not have to  mention, that we were deeply impressed by the countryside and the cultural richness of Nepal. Also the friendliness of Nepali people was amazing.
Next time I come to Nepal I will probably  make an easier trek, because Helambu for
me was a little bit exhausting, but still it was a great experience, which I would not like
to miss. If we will travel to Nepal again  one day (perhaps next year) there is no question, that we will contact you, to organize the trip.

That`s all for today. Wishing you good business and all the best for the future

yes, we are well back from Nepal and we all enjoyed the trip very much.
It was well organoized (thanks !) and Pemba did a perfect job, he takes care of us in a perfect manner and Manic and Himal carry our equipment well and were very friendly.
Don't worry about that you were stressted due to your trip . Next time (either in Gilching or in Nepal) we may have more time to talk to each other.
Anyway we take with us a lot of impressions from our trip. If we are planning to make another trekking in Nepal I will contact you for organisation and ask you for Pemba as a guide.

Hope see or speek you soon.

it is wonderful to hear from you .  I do hope that the year has been good to you , your family and your coworkers.  I still tell at great length friends the many stories about our fabulous trek and the caring professional people that we travelled with.  I’m sure that Sara’s Mum will get in touch with you as well to update you on the girls.  They are still travelling and are at present in Borneo, making their way slowly from island to island and beach to beach.  They are prepared to return home by mid December.  I will include the link to the photo bucket site where we have posted many of the pictures taken during our trip in Nepal and the girls travels in Tibet.  You can copy the pictures from there.  If you have any problems or you want me to send you a disk of the photos on it please do not hesitate to ask.  We were more than well taken care of and are willing to help you in any manner.  Please feel free to use as many of the photos as you wish and let us know once they are viewable on the web. Once again thank you for showing us a great time and the professional way we were looked after.  Please pass on our warm wishes to the boys. Bill

Dear Tilak,

It was truly a trip of a lifetime and a magical adventure. We would not have changed a single moment.  The schedule that you and Sonar arranged was perfect in every way. My only regret was that we had to leave so soon. Again, please accept my sincere gratitude and friendship. We hope to see you in the near future. All the best.

I want to Thank You again for your excellent planning of my two treks,  In Langtang and  some of Annapurna side,Jomson, etc. They where exactly what I had been hoping for and more !
I'm also very appreciative of my guide, Pemba. He dose his job well ! Taking care that I acclimatized, drank and ate properly so I had a excellent experience with both of my treks. Coming from sea level and being 54 of age, I'm ecstatic !
I love your country and was tearful to leave as I wanted to keep exploring and experiencing more passes, Nepalese people, villages, all of it ! A month of Nepal wasn't enough for me.
I hope to be back soon and highly recommend your Company to all who want to experience a wonderful life long memory of Nepal.

Hi Patti,

I don't directly organize those things. I am now working with Tilak Lama, thanks to my friend Puskar Gurung and his company Himaland Travel did a great job for us on a recent trek of the Tamang Trail. I will be using them for the big fall medical trip as well. Here is their web site http://www.himaland.com.np/

Thanks, let me know how that goes or what else we can try to do to help.

Tilak,

Have meant to e-mail and say we returned to Abu Dhabi safely. Thanks for all your efforts while we were there - especailly your concern while we were sick as well as your understanding when we had that problem with the flights getting delayed and the awful customer service we received from that airline (forget the name already!)

I hope Dr. Dahl is still set to go on his trek with you - have not seen him since our return but will do so next Thursday. I also gave your contact info to another person - ALexandra (Sandy) Aldridge so you might have, or already have, heard from her

Dear Tilak,

hopefully you remember me?

I was "the trekking tour" with Bhoras from 1. to 12 of November 02.

I really hope that you want to hear that the tour with Bhoras was great - I enjoyed it very much and of course I want to thank you and at least to thank Bhoras for his good work he did. Especially the upper area starting in Marpha was great, Kagbeni and Muktinath and I was really glad that I didn´t get sick of the altitude. It made me feel very happy! I liked very much the landscape up there, the people, everything. I felt really sorry about that I didn´t do the circle because I thouhgt it might be too hard for me but I realized that it won´t!

Bhoras did his work excellent, bringing me to very nice lodges with nice people, felt very comfortable there! And of course he was very responsible about everything. Felt very safe with it!

I´m back at home again and slowly but surely we get real winter - so the weather forecast promised snow for tonight.

I miss Nepal and I´m sure coming back, maybe not next year but maybe the year after.

You can be sure, if I´m coming back, I´ll contact you and will recommend you to all my friends going to Nepal.

Namaste Tilak

It was nice to get your email message and then a day later your note and attractive brochures. We will pass the brochures on with our positive recommendations and hopefully someone will get in touch with you some day for the same kind of memorable time that we had there.

We must apologize for not sending a note to say that we enjoyed our visit to Nepal and the friendly hospitality and professional services of you, Tulku, and Sunil, and many others we came in contact with.  We will always look back on our time there with fond memories.

" I may be able to help depending on your concerns.  I trust you have a travel book like the Lonely Planet - Nepal is a wonderful country to travel in - alone and with others and you are never really alone for very long.  I had a wonderful porter/guide.  They are very inexpensive and its a great way to put money directly into their pockets.  The small trekking firm I was put in touch with  was invaluable to me - plus exceeding kind and inexpensive.  I'll pass along their email in case you should wish some of their services.  They provided my porter/guide and helped me plan a wonderfully enjoyable itinerary that really suited what and who I wanted to see.  This was all put
together in Katmandu after a few emails - good luck and great travels in a warm and wonderful country.  You will likely "speak" to Tilak Lama at this address:  him@tilak.wlink.com.np
