Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Resumed

Trekkers have started trekking on the route to Machhapuchhre base camp and Annapurna base camp. It is also stated in the press realease by TAAN. The trek route was closed due the deadly Avalanche that killed 7 trekkers and 5 still missing including 2 Nepali staff. More than 30 trekkers were trapped and later rescued to safer place down to Chhomrong. The valanche was occured between Hinku cave and Deurali on Foriday, 17th January last month. This short section is prone to avalanche when there is heavy snow fall. The avalanche occurs from the Hiunchuli peak glacier area.
