Rasuwa Flood Response Update Nepal – 20 September

As of 20 September 2026, emergency response efforts are continuing in the areas affected by flooding along the Bhote Koshi and Upper Trishuli corridor in Rasuwa. More than 21,000 personnel have been deployed, with over 13,700 people rescued and thousands receiving medical treatment. Helicopters are also being used to reach communities where road access remains difficult. The impact is mainly concentrated in the affected corridor, while major destinations including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, Everest, Manaslu and Kanchenjunga remain outside the affected area.
