Nepal Tibet New Boarder for International Tourists

Nepal - Tibet New Boarder Opens for International Tourists

New trans Himalayan boarder, Rasuwagadi, Nepal  and  Kerung Tibet, China now is also open for international tourists as stated in the press conference in Lhasa yesterday, 30th August. This boarder point was first opened from December 2014 and is in operation for trade and entry/exit points for Nepali and Chinese nationals. This new point is becoming busy after closure of Kodari Zhangmu point due to the April 2015 earthquake.

The new boarder will enhance trans boarder tourism between Nepal and Tibet and also promote more trade. It will also help expansion of Chinese maga project, 'One Belt One Road ' initiative. Road connecting the boarder from both sides is being upgraded. Good news for tourists and tourism entrepreneurs.
